“A
Great Business Model”
ShapeXpress has designed a franchise that allows you as owner to
make great money. With 3 different levels of membership, you can really
increase your per membership revenue. In addition, with amenities like
tanning, FAR infrared sauna, massage, yoga classes, nutritional products,
and bottled water, the average revenue per member goes even higher!
In our first 11 months of operation, we’ve had revenue in excess of our expectations. With our current membership, we are months ahead of our business model and have positive cash flow! “First
a Member, Now an Owner”
I was originally a ShapeXpress member at the Broken Arrow location.
There I lost 20 inches throughout my body in the first six weeks. I
found the atmosphere inviting, the employees welcoming and I looked
forward to coming into the club every day. I had never stuck with a
workout program before because I would get bored with it, but at ShapeXpress,
the workout changes every day. It was my personal experience as a member
that convinced me. I decided that my hometown of Claremore, OK, had
to have a ShapeXpress.
The response was tremendous. Even before our club opened, we had signed 100 members, and doubled our membership within the first month and a half. Our membership is now over 400 in our first 6 months. We continually do all types of marketing that our Sales and Marketing Executive suggests to us.
We do very well with our nutritional sales because we use the products ourselves and can speak honestly to our members about the benefits. We give out samples and once our members try the nutritional products, they buy. I am so excited about ShapeXpress and what it offers women. My husband and I are looking forward to expanding. Our dream is to own at least five ShapeXpress locations!
We have also recently added to the square footage of our ShapeXpress club, adding a top-quality aerobics floor, and additional locker room facilities.

Opening a ShapeXpress franchise has been such an amazing experience for me.
The support and guidance of the corporate office has been unbelievable and

“Great
Experience”
When I think about why I wanted to open a ShapeXpress, I think about how important
it is for me to be doing something I enjoyed. I had been going to Curves and
loved the concept so I looked into how to get one started. I quickly realized
that Curves was not readily available to sell a franchise. Additionally, whenever
I thought I had found a location that would be ideal, I was told the territory
was already sold. I had given up on the concept until one day a girlfriend
had called me up from North Carolina and said that I not only HAD to look at
a ShapeXpress but that I shouldn't even consider buying a Curves.I immediately
called the toll free number and the customer service I received from everyone,
from the receptionist to Ryan Hausher, was outstanding. It was Ryan who helped
me make the immediate decision to proceed with my purchase of a ShapeXpress
franchise. Since I opened on August 4, 2003 my experiences with the corporate

“All
Of Our Expectations Either Met Or Exceeded”
I had been a career sales and customer service executive for 15 years prior
to taking two years off. I was starting to get a little "antsy" when
my friend, Gail told me about this new exercise philosophy in town...Curves.
Gail was so enthusiastic about the concept etc. that she inspired me to start
thinking about opening a franchise with her. After careful research we determined
that while we liked the concept of the 30 minute circuit training but the equipment
and franchise agreement were problematic with Curves. Through a referral we
found out about ShapeXpress and were instantly impressed. It started with the
dual resistant hydraulic equipment, and continued on through the products,
the Franchise agreement, and especially the high level of support from the
Corporate office. We decided to go out to "Discovery Day" and have
never looked back. All of our expectations were either met or exceeded. We've
been in business for five and a half weeks and we have 100 members! Our goal
is 1000 by next summer. We have not doubt that between our experience (and
hard work), our products, the workout philosophy and the awesome corporate
staff that we will meet our goals...and help many women (including ourselves)
in their quest for fitness and wellness.
